Design Process for Design Level I
The Landscape Design Process is broken into two levels of service. Design Level I was developed to determine your projects overall guideline. Our Landscape Designers perform a detailed site analysis (outline available online) to determine the existing elements and conditions that will play a factor in your design. Through the site analysis we measure and record notes on existing items such as trees, fence line, patio deck, utilities, topography, and building features along with taking digital pictures of your entire property. With this information, we will develop a detailed basemap to begin our design concepts.
Our designers through years of experience and the enjoyment of creating your personal milieu, will develop design concepts based on the information collected from the Client Care Manager's meeting with you and their detailed site analysis. As a result, you will receive a landscape plan that will determine the following:
- Layout / shape of planting beds and lawn / open spaces
- Location of large plant material and planting masses of smaller plant material
- traffic patterns
- Layout of hardscapes (patios, walks, driveways, pool, etc.)
- Overall location of items detailed on the Landscape Design Questionnaire
We will also prepare a Preliminary Budget Outline to help create an overall project budget. This will determine the foxus of Design Level II. |
